Our Programs
1. Sparsham
There are around 120 brick kilns in the Parali and Ambajogai areas of Beed district. Over 800 donkeys are used in these kilns to transport soil and bricks. The health of these donkeys working in the kilns is being taken care of by DDS and FIAPO through the “Sparsham” project. On July 17th and 18th, several brick kilns in Parali and Ambajogai were inspected. As work is currently closed due to the rains, over 400 animals were examined by interacting with 25 animal owners residing in Ram Nagar (Parali), Kranti Nagar (Ambajogai), Kalamb, Gadigao Road (Barshi). This program started on June 1st. During this time, project manager Dr. Akshay Musale, veterinary assistants Sagar Waghmare and Prashant Arkad treated the animals for various diseases. When the animal owners were contacted, they expressed satisfaction with this initiative. This program will continue for the next year and through it, donkeys will receive quality and timely treatment.
2. Pet Clinic
In addition to organizing medical camps specifically for donkeys, our organization operates a veterinary care center where we provide comprehensive animal care services. Typically, we address the requirements of local residents and their domesticated animals. Our services primarily focus on essential veterinary procedures such as deworming and vaccinations. Additionally, we handle cases related to various diseases and wounds, offering medical attention and treatment to ensure the well-being of the animals under our care.
